This pair of wooden sake cups is handcrafted from Yakusugi cedar, an ancient Japanese cedar native to Yakushima Island, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Because the forests of Yakushima are strictly protected, no new Yakusugi can be harvested, making existing pieces extremely rare and irreplaceable.
Each cup is hand-turned to showcase the cedar’s natural grain and warm tone. Lightweight yet durable, they offer both functional use and collectible value.
